**Roles & Responsibilities**

**About Us**
- Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) is the largest international industry-funded cooperative which exists to respond to oil spills wherever in the world they may occur, by providing preparedness, response and intervention services. We are wholly owned by most of the environmentally responsible oil and gas companies, and our membership represents the majority of global oil production_
- Provide safe, prompt and efficient support to spill incidents, exercises and preparedness projects globally
- Undertake the efficient maintenance and rehabilitation of operational and support equipment
- Provide input into the ongoing technical development of spill response equipment, strategies and techniques through internal technical forums, working groups and practical experience
- Develop and update operational guidelines, maintenance procedures for equipment to ensure safe and effective operation. Provide a source of expertise to other departments and assist them as required

**Requirements**:

- Working experience not required
- Be operational ready to travel immediately as required by the company
- Diploma/Degree in Aviation/ Chemical Engineering/ Environmental / Earth / Marine Sciences, Geomatics, Crisis Management.
- Be able to communicate clearly, effectively and confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong and effective team working abilities
- Demonstrate initiative, versatility, adaptability and good problem solving abilities in challenging environments

Our membership consists of over 160 environmentally responsible corporations. Besides oil majors, national / independent oil companies, we also have energy-related companies operating elsewhere in the oil supply chain joining as our Members.

Backed by a distinguished track record of attending more than 350 spill incidents in the past 25 years, OSRL has both the experience and expertise to deliver a wide range of preparedness services from our strategic bases in the UK, Singapore and Bahrain. Our services include technical advisory, provision of specialist personnel, equipment hire and maintenance, and training. To get closer to our Members and customers, we have set up regional offices and representatives in Aberdeen (UK), Houston (USA), Jakarta (Indonesia), North Africa and West and Central Africa.

Our personnel are professionals in their respective fields, highly experienced and qualified in key disciplines required for advising and supporting clients in oil spill prevention, response and mitigating the consequences of spills.
