Senior Cost Accountant

Our client, a global manufacturing company is looking for a **Senior Cost Accountant**to manage and enhance costing processes across its regional production facilities. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and a deep understanding of cost accounting to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee **costing activities**for manufacturing operations, ensuring accuracy in cost analysis, reporting, and financial controls.
- Analyze and resolve **cost variances**, collaborating with production teams to enhance financial accuracy before month-end closing.
- Develop, implement, and refine **costing models and policies**, driving improvements in financial processes and cost management.
- Conduct **inventory and standard cost accounting**, supporting budget planning and operational forecasting.
- Lead **inventory reviews**and cycle counts, identifying areas for process enhancement.
- Assist with **monthly financial closing**, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial insights, including **pricing analysis, cost efficiency recommendations, and break-even assessments**.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in **Accounting, Finance, or a related field**.
- **5+ years**of experience in **manufacturing costing**and financial accounting.
- Strong proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**; experience with **SAP ECC6**required, **S4HANA**is an advantage.
- Knowledge of **cost analysis, financial reporting, and process optimization**.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across **global finance teams**.
- Experience in a **multinational environment**is preferred.
- Willingness to **travel internationally**as needed.
