Job Brief:
The role has to ensure our payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and on time. A major part of your job is to supervise the payroll team and liaise with internal employees, statutory board and The Ministry. You need to be analytical and methodical, with experience in payroll administration and deep knowledge of payroll regulations. We value integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure our payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current.
- Overseeing payroll processes which includes new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, withholding of monies for tax, submission of Government Paid Leave.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Supervise and coach payroll team
- Liaison with statutory board, Ministry of Manpower, auditors and internal customers
- To work closely with HRBP and Operations
- Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly reports to Finance and Management
- Attend and resolve all issues / query relating to payroll
- Improve payroll processes when needed
- Coordinate timekeeping and ensure payroll schedules are on time
- Manage all statutory surveys
- Any other adhoc tasks as assigned by immediate superior
In order to excel in the role, you need to possess the following requirements:
- Minimum 3 years as in supervisory role
- Professional certificate in Payroll Management
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resources or related filed
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
- Keen eye for detail and sensitive to numbers
- Good analytical mind and good mathematical skills
- Good leadership skills
- Willingness to coach and guide the team
- Experience in managing a team, possess good leadership skills and is able to command respect
- Receive professional certification relating to payroll
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of payroll procedures and related laws
- Keen eye for detail and is sensitive to numbers
- Possess good analytical mind and good mathematical skills
- Ability to balance fun and work in the workplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $4,800.00 per month
