**Technology Group**
We experiment, design, and lead a 24×7 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies.

**Business Partner & Solutions**
You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What will you do as a Data Scientist?
- Participate in the build of division-wide data science capabilities, with a focus on organising, analysing and interpreting data to uncover patterns and trends and establishing how these findings can help improve operational efficiency
- Mentor and lead junior Data Scientists to oversee multiple projects
- Develop models and analytics to support key functions such as trade execution, investment operations, finance and compliance to detect anomalies and develop solutions that improve our efficiency and effectiveness in our operations
- Be able to analyze, manipulate, and visualize the data to help business users understand their systems better
- Collaborate with Software Developers and Data Engineers to build and improve on the availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data logging and data pipelines
- Play the role of a thought leader with a collaborative mind-set and work hand-in-hand with various facets of the business across Middle and Back Office, the extended Technology team in GIC, as well as industry peers and partner
- Hands-on leader, with a strong mathematical or computational background (M.S. or Bachelor degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields) who has relevant experience within a business environment
- Good understanding of Deep Learning and Standard Machine Learning Techniques
- Strong people manager who is passionate about inspiring, motivating, and growing a team
- Experience coding in python, building the end to end solution from ingesting data, processing it, building models and visualizing the results on a dashboard such as Tableau
- Strong grasp of software engineering and key experimental design, machine learning algorithms and principles. NLP experience is desirable
- Understand how to deploy and monitor models in production
- Strong communication and collaboration skills which will equip you to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
