Scaffolder Chargehand

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise and maintain the scaffold works onboard vessel carried out by yard workers and subcontractors and report work progress to Ship Repair Supervisor (Operations Support)
- Daily monitoring and recording of the Scaffold work
- Provide OK tag onto scaffolding for USE
- Conduct safety briefing and toolbox briefing for the yard workers and subcontractors
- Take instruction from Supervisor and draws materials from stores
- Arranges for necessary permits-to-work for work onboard vessel and workshop
- Controls material usage to minimise wastage
- Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned

**Requirements**:

- At least 4 years of relevant working experience, or at least 2 years of supervisory
- Attended SSSC (shipyard safety supervisor course), SSIC (general trade), MARINE metal scaffold course, MARINE metal scaffold course for Supervisors, Perform work in confine space operation course, WAH for worker course and Rigger/Signalman course
- Good knowledge of scaffolding work and sound knowledge of marine industrial safety.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Required to be onboard vessel/wharf at most time to supervise the works
- Expected to work long hours & on Sun/PH

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $600.00 - $700.00 per month
