**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify, evaluate, and liaise with suppliers to obtain high-quality products at lower and reasonable purchase prices.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to maximize cost savings.
- Manage purchasing activities for all frozen food product categories.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the import & export process to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Handle documentation and compliance for customs clearance in accordance with local and international regulations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs officers to resolve any clearance issues.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and supply availability.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.
- Work closely with warehouse and inventory teams to manage stock levels effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar role, preferably in the frozen food industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost reductions.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with import/export procedures and customs clearance.
- Familiarity with international shipping terms (Incoterms).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
**Education & Experience**:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in the food supply industry.
