**Job Purpose**

The Senior Manager of Digital and Social Media will develop and build an essential dialogue across a variety of channels to create awareness of and deepen engagement with the DP World brand purpose.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Strategy _

To develop and manage a Regional Strategy for the use of Digital and Social Media channels that includes:

- Strategic content for regional deployment (based on business insight and objectives)
- How DP World should use paid and earned media to reach and resonate with the target audience in APAC (and lead the defining of that audience)
- A creative approach that maximises impact and delivers external and internal recognition
- Planning _

To develop and manage a Regional Plan based on:

- Measurable objectives (to support business and brand)
- A content calendar based on the global narrative framework, including appropriate regional channel choices and messaging
- Adherence to budgets and timelines
- Implementation _

To drive effective and cost-efficient execution of the Plan through:

- Blending of global campaigns with coordination of regional/local activities
- Effective selection and management of external agencies
- Focusing on consistency and coherence across all channels
- Measurement _

To establish and report on a Digital Dashboard of measurements which:

- Uses data/analytics to monitor performance against targets (KPIs and ROI)
- Evaluates the relative effectiveness of different channels
- Tracks progress against overall objectives for stakeholder awareness and engagement
- Tactical Responsiveness _

To maintain agility and ‘24/7 attention’ to:

- Deal with the fast-changing environment
- Manage the impact of user responses and user-generated content
- Cope with unforeseen opportunities or problems (including crisis communications
- Continuous Improvement _

To encourage and nurture a culture of innovation designed to:

- Test and validate new ideas and approaches
- Explore opportunities for enhanced cost-efficiency (‘doing more with less’)
- Expand and strengthen professional skill sets in channel management
- Compliance _

To constantly adhere to and actively promote behaviours which reflect the Brand Purpose while specifically:

- Maintaining the highest levels of Safety standards
- Complying with our Principles, Code of Conduct and Ethical policies
- Meeting all agreed standards for DP World Brand and Visual Identity
- Acting as an ambassador for DP World at all times**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar social media role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
- Outstanding English writing, editing and proof-reading skills; with diligence and proactivity in validating facts. Fluency in another regional language an advantage.
- Proven communicator on social media channels with the ability to hit the right tone, encourage conversations and interactions online.
- Experience of devising and implementing strategies to grow social media channels and content management.
- A flexible individual who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get work done.
