Key Responsibilities:

- Synthesis and characterization of carbonaceous materials and nanomaterials
- Nano thin film synthesis and characterization, study deposition parameter and understand film physical properties
- Monitor project schedule and coordinates project activities
- Assisting and collaborating closely with project PI, research staff and PhD students of related projects
- Manage project procurement, eg. Quick purchasing, ITQ, etc.
- Organize project team meetings and prepare project progress reports
- Assist with research administration of respective projects
- Oversea and regularly update project budget and utilization of allocated funds
- Support PIs on management of research equipment, safety aspect and publications, etc.

Job Requirements:

- PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Material Science and Engineering or Physics from top universities,
- Expertise in nanomaterial and thin film deposition and characterization
- Experience in Filtered Cathodic Vacuum Arc and/or sputtering system is an additional advantage
- Have working experience in research and laboratory
- Good communication skills and ability to work with team members and collaborators
- Project management skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and able to multitasking
