**Job Summary**:
As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will lead a team of carpenters in executing various construction and woodworking projects. Your role is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specified quality standards. You will also be responsible for coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision**:Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of carpenters.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Monitor the progress of projects and ensure they are on track.
- **Project Planning**:Collaborate with project managers and contractors to understand project requirements.
Assist in project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- **Quality Control**:Ensure that all carpentry work meets the required quality and safety standards.
Conduct inspections to identify and address defects or issues promptly.
- **Resource Management**:Manage and allocate tools, equipment, and materials for the carpentry team.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material deliveries.
- **Safety Compliance**:Enforce safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
Conduct safety meetings and provide training to team members as necessary.
- **Cost Control**:Monitor project expenses and control costs within the allocated budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- **Problem Solving**:Address any challenges or obstacles that arise during projects.
Develop solutions to overcome issues and keep projects on track.
- **Documentation**:Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and materials used.
Prepare reports for project managers and senior management.
- **Communication**:Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients.
Provide regular updates on project status and any issues that may affect timelines or budgets.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter with several years of hands-on experience in woodworking and construction.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is typically required.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Understanding of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor when necessary.
