Customer centricity, scale and automation is at the center of everything we do at Amazon. We are looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed product leader to support the JP team to deliver these customer and seller experiences. This leader will help and provide inputs to set the vision for the Deals and Events customer experience and automation, will be passionate about delivering delightful, engaging customer experiences and also work with technical and Machine Language teams based in Japan, Berlin and Seattle, to support design and building it. This role will entail partnering closely with other software engineering teams, product and program managers, Retail Category teams, UX designers, Marketing Managers, and customer service leaders as well as other internal product stakeholders across the company for driving the business. This role will work with partner teams to deliver a mix of new first at customer facing Amazon initiatives, CX enhancements, and internal tools to drive operational excellence and efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

- Developing customer insights and a thorough understanding of customer segments, including emerging trends and best practices for the customer shopping experience - online and offline
- Assist the JP team to develop a long-term strategy and execute go-to-market plans for new features and offerings.
- Provide inputs to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the shopping and discovery experience to enable customers to find the best value for their shopping.
- Provide inputs to help define 3-4 year roadmap of products and customer experiences to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Provide inputs to JP team to create a cross-functional roadmap
- Facilitate hard, high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-market
- Collaborate with design, engineering and ML teams to bring your ideas to market though rapid iteration.
- Support building business cases, articulating strategy, creating a vision to leadership, understand the market, analyze consumer engagement, etc.
- Present your findings to large groups, including senior leaders

- MBA or Masters in a technology discipline
