As the **Retail Operations Manager, Malaysia**, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and optimizing operational efficiency.

You will also
- Own the overall operations management of retail stores in Malaysia to ensure seamless integration and a customer friendly environment.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and achieve revenue targets.
- Own the development and management of a high-performance sales team. Lead, guide, and motivate the team to achieve sales goals, and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in the recruiting, training, and mentoring retail staff members to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and optimise inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing backlog and out of stock; manage stock discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control measures and conduct regular inventory evaluations.
- Implement product sales guidelines to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Oversee the visual merchandising of the store to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
- Participate in the planning and execution of marketing plans, maintain and manage key customers, be responsible for coordinating, guiding, and supervising the implementation of various promotional activities in the stores under their jurisdiction, and evaluate the effectiveness of various promotional activities;
- Participate in procurement and negotiation of retail space. Responsible for preparation of opening of new and old stores, assisting in elevating brand image and promotions etc.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and laws and regulations.

You MUST be or have
- Passionate about Sunnystep products and mission, and passionate about consumer products that impact people’s lives
- Proven experience in retail management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and management.
- Proficiency and experience with retail management software or POS systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
