Front End Web Developer Marketing Specialist

The individual will be responsible for the maintenance and continual upkeep of Big Red websites and social media accounts. This is both a technical and creative role that will involve a deep understanding on how our websites attract and engage with our online customers.

It will involve project management, delivery of web products, prompt bug issue resolution, and ensuring website performance is optimal to achieve business objectives. You will be responsible in ensuring that the website infrastructures stay current in order to attract, retain and convert web traffic. You will assure that all website projects are completed with the highest level of aesthetics with maximum usability and functionality.

The individual has to be fluent in the use of e-commerce platforms as there will be a need to run the platforms.

**Job Description and Key Responsibilities**:

- Strong sense of design; Ability to think creatively and develop new design concepts;
- Be able to prioritise given tasks;
- Works fast with minimum guidance; excellent time management skills
- Support for the web design and production of both online and offline content marketing collateral (e.g. banner ads, brochures, sales kits, and newsletters);
- Resolve website or website performance issues;
- Stay up to date on web's latest technologies to ensure websites and products are mobile and multi-platform ready
- Improve usability, design and content of the website by developing a deeper understanding of user behaviour;
- Employ web data/analytics & other best practices to track, assess and analyze key web metrics.
- Oversees all company social media accounts management
- Initiate, implement and distribute content across multiple channels including official website, social media, and third-party websites
- Fluency in E-Commerce platforms such as (Lazada, Shopee, Shopify)

**Web Development & SEO**
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS is a must;
- Proficient with WordPress, Shopify and modern development workflows;
- Good understanding of SEO Ranking, Technical SEO, and Google’s Core Web Vitals (Content loading speed, Interactivity and Visual stability);
- Good experience in SEO keywords research, SEO tracking software knowledge (SEMrush, UberSuggest, Moz etc.);
- Knowledge and experience working with Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools (Google, Bing and Yandex) will be preferred;
- Hands-on, practical project experience of front-end and back-end builds;
- Experience with web browser tests, debugging, mobility optimisation, A/B split tests.

**Job Skills and Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor in a relevant field of study (i.e. Multimedia Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, New Media etc.);
- More than 3 years professional hands-on experience with interaction, mobile-friendly web development, usability testing and visual web designs;
- Experience working in E-Commerce/Digital Payments/Products industry is a bonus;
- Able to work both independently with minimum guidance and effectively as part of a team;
- Motivated, meticulous and results oriented;
- Possess good presentation and communication skills (oral and written);
- Works well in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stick to tight deadlines;
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite;
- Must be proficient in Adobe Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects);
- Include a link to your creative portfolio (e.g. websites, graphic design, animations, videos) in your resume;
PAY RANGE: $3,000 - $5,500
