Identify risks and ensure all requirements on design & construction phase are met with suitable and mitigation measures.
- Assist Technical Personnel on the preparation of method of statements and other technical solutions required by the site construction team.
- Prepare, maintain and update project Risk Register as project progresses, review of Risk Assessments, attend Construction Risk Management (CRM)andProject Safety Review (PSR) meeting.
- DfS and CRM meeting to be conducted simultaneously to ensure prompt submission of the monthly RMF report during CRM meeting.
- Present to the management committee the risk and mitigation measures for critical activities and obtain committee approval prior to proceeding with construction activities
- Other RMF roles as tasked by Construction Managers and as per project requirements.
- Handle the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) submission of critical activities to authorities for approval
- Coordinate with other disciplines, subcontractor, client and consultant to review design and construction risks and coordinate with internal departments like Design, M&E, Archi to troubleshoot the issues
- Manage subcontractors and ensure the works are executed in accordance with approved method statement, safety procedures and quality system
- Provide regular (monthly) updates on the appropriate risk control measures implemented to eliminate or reduce identified risks
- Obtain approval from Reporting Supervisor / Project Manager / Senior Project Manager for the implementation of risk control measures and ensure the Risk Register is prepared and maintained in accordance with Code of Practice
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent, -A registered PE or Architect with a Practicing Certificate
- Attended the Design for Safety (DfS) for Professional Course and passed the assessment
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience (tunnel structure, viaduct structure etc.) in the design (min. 5 years in design which includes contributions to designs, writing specifications) and the supervision of the construction of structures
