Development and Communications Manager

To support overall fund-raising efforts and the VIVA Life Programme, build relationships and effectively manage donors volunteers and beneficiaries
Specifically:
**FUNDRAISING**
- To create and implement a fundraising plan
- Organise and manage fundraising and special events
**LIFE PROGRAMME**
Organise and manage programmes, activities and events for survivors
**DONOR, SPONSOR, VOLUNTEER AND SURVIVOR MANAGEMENT**
- Develop and execute effective management plan to register, update and track the survivors, volunteers sponsors and donors, and cultivate new donors volunteers and partners
- Maintain and manage a database of sponsors, donors, volunteers and survivors
**COMMUNICATIONS**
- Plan, execute and manage social media and communications campaign and strategies
- Develop and upgrade the website into an interactive platform to engage and manage stakeholders
Safe keep and organize archives of videos and photographs of events and activities
Produce monthly or periodic newsletters to reach out to stakeholders
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in public relations, partnership management, or a similar role, preferably within a non-profit or charity organization.
Strong knowledge of media relations and experience working with journalists and influencers.
Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and developing strategic partnerships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and pitch stories effectively.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
Passion for Viva Foundation's mission and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children diagnosed with cancer.
