Assistant Baker

6 days (required to work on shifts including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.)
- 8am/8.30pm to 5.30pm/6.30pm/7.30pm
- 10am to 8.30pm/9.30pm
- 11am to 9.30pm
- 12pm/ 12.30pm to 9.30pm
(Shift Work, every week change shift)

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare fillings, mixing dough, and glazing of pastries
- Follow proper storage and refrigeration to ensure freshness and suitability of products
- Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils
- Follow Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and all food preparation areas
- Ensure there are sufficient ingredients to bake, otherwise notify the baker
- Provide support in ad-hoc duties assigned by baker or kitchen staff
- Assist and plan daily production in the kitchen for cafe sales and events
- To monitor the visual appeal and availability of baked pastries on display at cafe
- To clean the kitchen after cafe operating hours and preparing it for the next day.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in Pastry & Baking or similar preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in baking or related
- With a heart to serve and enjoy working in a Food and Beverage environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Work well with others
