JOB CONTENT:

- Perform duties as a roving or stationary security officer as assigned by the Supervisor
- Maintain vigilance while on duty for the protection of the facility, employees and all property owned or leased by Future Electronics Corporation
- Monitor and react promptly to all alarm systems including Fire Panels, ADT Alarms and CCTV systems
- Maintain the Daily Journal and make the appropriate entries. Prepare incident reports and other related administrative forms with the knowledge and direction of the Shift Leader
- Check fire emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire hose cabinets and sprinkler valves. Know fire alarm procedures; zone and alarm locations; and reset procedures. Look for safety hazards to include electrical or water conditions. Alert Facility Maintenance of any hazards or discrepancies that may require immediate corrective action. Ensure that these discrepancies are reported to the shift leader and are noted and logged in the Daily Journal
- Review and learn all security operating procedures (SOP Manual). Review security memos, pass-on messages, or other directives
- Perform escorts to contractors, vendors, and other visitors as necessary. Ensure that outside contractors performing duties within the facility adhere to internal security procedures and that these procedures are maintained and followed at all times
- Ensure proper wear and display of contractor ID badges

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid PLRD certification is a must
- Dedicated team player with the ability to work and communicate effectively
- Ability to read and understand English
- Flexible/adaptable to changing environment
- Effective in relating in an appropriate, positive manner with peers and supervisors
- Self-motivated with the capacity to complete tasks unsupervised
- Must have basic software skills, such as MS Excel and Word

Pay: From $2,200.00 per month
