About the job

You will be responsible for creating a sense of community amongst the learners during the live workshop, asynchronously, and across cohorts. We are looking to build an experience with quality touch points with every learner we work with.

**Responsibilities**

Create a sense of community amongst the learners
- Share responses, questions, and ideas to encourage discussion in the chat groups
- Document learner observations throughout the workshop and lead the follow-up discussions after the workshops
- Respond to questions from learners in the chat and asynchronously

Coordinate the logistics of the learner experience- Arrange and conduct onboarding calls with the learners along with the Lead Sprint Coach
- Ensure learner access to the platforms utilised for the workshops
- Create groupings and pairings for activities

Support the learners' learning process by holding them accountable- Identify learners that require additional assistance
- Ensure submissions of pre-work and follow-up assignments
- Review feedback from the learners after each session and facilitate the discussion of what actions to take
- Prepare materials for the live workshops
- Post weekly announcements and reminders on a regular basis
- Be the point of contact related to attendance and tardiness issues

About you- You have 1-2 years of experience managing communities remotely and virtually to create a sense of inclusion
- You have some experience facilitating discussions virtually
- You are tech-savvy and are able to navigate different tools
- You're passionate about supporting the growth and learning of others
- You're an eloquent and concise communicator virtually and in written form
- You're able to identify subtle behaviours from learners and engage with them proactively
- You thrive in the environment of interacting with people
- You're open-minded in understanding and empathising with different cultures and backgrounds
- You have a professional space at home with strong internet that will allow you to deliver virtual live sessions
- **Nice to haves**:

- You have experience in formal education
- You have experience as a teaching assistant
- You have the desire to pursue a career in training and facilitation

**Remote requirements**:

- NewCampus is a fully remote company and you will have flexibility in your hours. But most of our team and learners are APAC based so you will need to be able to overlap your workday with the GMT+8 timezone for team calls and live workshops as needed.- Does this role sound like an exciting challenge for you, but you only fit 60-80% of the requirements?
