Reporting to Country Manager, the Senior Consultant / Principal’s main responsibility will be to undertake Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), PHA (HAZOPs, LOPA), Process Safety Management (PSM), Safety Case (SC), Process Safety studies, while assisting in other safety or environmental business areas in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
**Responsibilities**:
- Report writing, preparation of slides, coordination with the internal team and external subcontractors, assisting in project proposal preparation.
- Project management and liaison with clients and government authorities as required.
- Preparing proposals, obtaining quotations, and supporting as needed for projects relating to PHA, QRA, SC etc.
**Job Requirements**
- 7 - 12 years’ experience with relevant industrial experience.
- Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.
- Relevant experience in process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
- Strong analytical, planning and project management skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion on complex & sensitive issues.
- Ability to work well in a team with diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations
- Excellent reporting and communication skills (experience in client management is advantageous)
- Tertiary qualifications, bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety) or associated science degree.
