**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possession of a valid **Certified Practicing Horticulturist**Certification from the CUGE (Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology) and/or a **Certified Arborist**certification from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is required.
- Proven experience in landscape planning, design, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, environmental sustainability, and plant health management.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and perform after office hours when necessary.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as required.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Landscape Planning & Implementation**:Develop detailed landscape plans, including site analysis, plant selection, and project execution. Perform planting of shrubs, turf, trees, and other landscaping features in accordance with approved designs and standards.
- **Maintenance & Inspection**:Regularly inspect landscape sites to monitor plant health and environmental conditions. Identify signs of pests, diseases, or environmental stress and take proactive or remedial actions to maintain plant vitality.
- **Environmental and Horticultural Management**:Assess soil conditions, evaluate environmental impacts, and recommend appropriate interventions such as fertilization, irrigation, pruning, and erosion control measures.
- **Project Planning & Costing**:Prepare detailed reports, project proposals, and cost estimates to facilitate budgeting and resource allocation.
- **Supervision & Training**:Supervise gardening and landscaping staff in daily tasks, ensuring quality standards are met. Provide guidance on best practices for pruning, fertilization, pest control, irrigation, and erosion management.
- **Material & Equipment Management**:Ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment. Regularly inspect equipment for safety and operational readiness, and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
- **Health, Safety, & Environmental Policy Compliance**:Uphold all safety protocols and environmental regulations on site. Promote a safety-conscious work environment among all team members.
- **Adaptability & Flexibility**:Perform work after hours, including weekends and public holidays when required to meet project deadlines or address urgent landscape issues.
- **Additional Responsibilities**:Carry out other related duties as assigned by supervisors to support landscape maintenance and development projects.
