**SCOPE**
The Planner is responsible for managing and planning for content on social media channels for a key client, across 2-3 brands. This includes content strategy, content analysis, editorial planning, campaign ideation, and execution of day-to-day tasks. You are the face and the voice behind the brands you manage.
The Planner also is in charge of guiding one or more Associate Planners on concurrent projects.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with account leads on content strategy & planning for assigned brands
- Create or suggest engaging and innovative ideas for social media
- Draft editorial calendars together with the creative team
- Meet and liaise integrated teams for approval and information
- Analyse, review and report on content performance
- Benchmark competitors to ensure we stay current with developing content strategies as well as stay abreast of best practices in social media
- Engage clients and advocate for upstream integration of content planning
**Job Requirements/ Experience/ Skills/ Education**
- At least 2-3 year’s experience in agency as Account Executive, Creative, Planner or Content Strategist
- Experience with managing Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok or other relevant social media platforms for brands
- Intellectual curiosity for all and thirst for innovation in the social media realm
- Understanding of digital, marketing and advertising concepts as well as data/statistics
- Strong communication skills, written and oral
- Team player
- Meticulous and conscientious
