Qlik Developer

In this role, you will work as a Qlik Developer within the Data Analytics CoE team implementing an enterprise-wide strategic initiative using the BI platform with following responsibilities:

- Develop comprehensive Qlik dashboards to support business strategically and bring new insights to the stakeholders.
- Build data ingestion pipelines to bring in wide variety of data from multiple sources within the organization as well as from social media and public data sources.
- Work with cross functional teams to source data and make it available for downstream consumption.
- Primary responsibility of designing interactive visualisations and automation within Qlik Sense & NPrinting
- End to end and hands on experience on Qlik Sense platform management, Architecture (in-memory data discovery architecture), Report/Dashboard Development & User adaption.
- Responsible for Qlik Sense Apps Deployment (single and multi-node environment), Security & User role-based access activity processes
- Collaborate with business users for automation of existing manual extraction and reporting with SQL and SAS EG technologies.
- Development and testing of data extract scripts. Data validation & assistance with UAT (user acceptance testing).
- Create new and maintain existing reports using SQL and SAS EG reporting tools.
- Maintaining weekly/monthly data extraction for business users with SQL/SAS EG
- Create functional & technical documentation related to Business Intelligence deliverables particularly around Campaign and Leads Management
- Applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing best practice solutions and strategies.
- Ensures that the visualization architecture is well planned and in agreement with standards of data governance & security guidelines
- Drive to support various on-going initiatives including NPrinting, report and dashboard building

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services is preferred
- 3 - 5 years of experience with NPrinting report design and development.

**Technical skills**:

- Must have BI industry experience, preferably in Finance and Insurance.
- At least 5 years of experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense development and end-to-end implementations.
- Must know advanced scripting, aggregation functions, advanced charts, and extensions with hands on experience with Qlik Sense Apps Deployment, Security & User role-based access activity processes
- Strong hands on experience with relational databases and data modelling.
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise Data Architecture and/or Qlik Deployment Framework.
- Understanding of wireframing, UX design and UI patterns.
- Comfortable working in Agile development environments.
- Hands-on experience with QMC administrative tasks. (e.g. task creation and scheduling, users and license management, etc.)

**Good to have skills**:

- Deep knowledge of Qlik’s in-memory data discovery architecture and advocate adherence to Qlik’s leading practices and standards.
- Knowledge of Qlik Sense Security Rules preferred.
- AngularJS experience or equivalent JS frameworks.
- Basic understanding of other visualization tools (Domo / PowerBI)
- Knowledge of market tools for big data processing (Attunity / StreamSets / Talend / Apache Nifi)
- Experience with cloud computing (Azure / AWS)
