Internship - Data Automation Engineer

Singapore Infineon Technologies Full time

The student, as part of the Product Test Engineering (PTE) Department team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will be responsible to automate the generation of a KPI reporting system, starting from raw data files to the publication in Tableau server.

In your new role you will:
Get to
**work as a Data Automation Engineer **,
**responsible to innovate on new method of data management in order to optimize the performance of the automated reporting system
- **Be **responsible for the Automation of Product Test Engineering**
- **Tableau Lot Rejection Rate (LRR) report**:

- to extract from various sources, including database and DataMart and automate the data management for best performance**:

- **Support for LRR chart revamp for LRR target to achieve 5%**:

- **Cover the requirements of the various Asia, Europe and America Backend sites and Subcon sites until the deployment stage**
- **Assist engineer in the projects**
- **Loading of Optical Inspection data to a database **(called Production Analytics Data Storage)**:

- **Setting up Data Loading gate**:

- System to ensure data is available before the lot is moved forward to the next process**
- **Be **responsible to maintain the department Product Test Engineering Portal**
- **Webpage updating**:

- **Refresh design and content**

**Internship learning outcomes**:

- **Understand the main steps for Backend Final Test Production procedures **for beginning, during test & end of test, **and the subsequent data post-processing**:

- **Experience how to manage a project with consideration for different project phase **s - **requirements study, risk assessment, timeline, stakeholder’s analysis **, etc.**:

- **Being a cluster function, have the chance to interact with colleagues globally on the project details**

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- On track to attain **Masters / Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical / Electronic Engineering**:

- **Knowledge in programming language Python, SQL and Excel VBA **will be an advantage
- **Knowledge and Interest in visualization tool Tableau **, but can learn on the job
- Motivate to learn and pick up new knowledge
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues globally
