Pet Groomer

Gross Salary : up to $5000 per month (basic salary + commission)

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day business operations of grooming.
- Ensure all grooming appointments properly scheduled.
- Ensure pet grooming equipments are well maintained.
- Perform pet grooming based on the best practices and customers’ needs.
- Ensure workplace safety, hygiene level and cleanliness of the grooming centre.
- Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets.
- Ensure safety of pets throughout the grooming process.
- Ensure that all pets are well taken care of and in compliance with AVA guidelines.
- Highlight abnormalities of pets to the customers to avoid unnecessary conflicts or misunderstanding.
- Trim or shear animal coats according to owner specifications
- Clip or file pet’s nails
- Perform ear-cleaning services
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in cutting & shaving furs for dogs and cats
- Possess Class “A” Grooming Certificate
- Hand shearing and scissoring skills
- Comfort working with various breeds of dogs and cats
- Ability to work with dogs that weigh over 30kg.
- Good Communication skills
- Patience
- Reliabilty

Working Location : Bukit Panjang

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- GCE 'O' Level or GCE 'N' Level (preferred)

**Experience**:

- handling of puppies of all sizes: 1 year (preferred)
