The Team

The Trading Risk Management (TRM) department provides independent daily reporting and analysis of market risk and P&L for the Financial Markets department within ING Wholesale Banking.

Within Trading Risk Management, the Risk Services & Change team (3 FTE in total) provides project support for wider TRM teams on strategic IT initiatives on systems that impact TRM; in addition, it helps on automation and increase efficiency on reporting where there are no alternative IT systems with the aim to reduce EUCs and improve/remove manual processes.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a new addition to the team who can:

- Configure and support standardized risk and P&L templates using the MI Apollo reporting tool that uses Excel add-in accessing Active Pivot cubes and Oracle database.
- Conduct business analysis and consult with different stakeholders to rollout various initiatives. -Support the product teams in the locations in Asia as well as in Singapore in increasing the automation of tasks to enhance efficiency as well as control.
- Consolidate risk and P&L data across the region for regional and head office reporting.
- Create report and dashboards using SQL based and Google Cloud technologies

The key requirements for this function are:

- High competency in programming skills on (Excel macros\VBA\SQL\Python)
- Skilled in business analysis and project management
- Have experience and being able to work in an Agile environment
- Working experience on Active Pivot, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Google Cloud platform and Looker would be an advantage
- Experience with market risk management and/or product control.
- Good communication skills and Critical/analytical thinking
