Smartli is currently looking for a **Game Developer **to help us in maintaining our current games and developing new MMORPG educational games.

This position will be a multifaceted role with various functions ranging from user interface (UI) development and gameplay implementation to graphics programming.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design & develop 2D and 3D games using Unity for WebGL, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring that core architectures are designed for efficiency and reuse
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Develop gameplay systems, new features and user interface mechanics
- Design features aligned with the creative and game directions (e.g. gameplay rules, progression systems, combat systems, weapon attributes, artificial intelligence behaviours, 3Cs, etc.)
- Translate business/game requirements into technical specifications.
- Work on coding key game elements with our artists and developers in a fast-moving dynamic environment
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologies
- Promote code maintainability, extensibility, and reusability
- Able to test, debug and optimise existing code base and game features
- Able to multitask and take on many different areas of development

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- At least 1 to 6 years of game development experience across the full development lifecycle.
- Shipped at least 1 title while working as the developer.
- Experience with Unity, C# and object-oriented programming
- Good understanding with API gateways integrations, and network optimisation.
- Driven and self-motivated, proactive, and work well as a team player.
- Able to work overtime (OT) as and when needed due to business requirements
- Strong understanding of current development methodologies, patterns, and best practices
- Knowledge of Game Optimization
- Knowledge of materials & texture, 2D & 3D coordination, UI and animation
- Knowledge of version control (Git)
- Familiar with implementing client/server architecture
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Possess Computer Science or related Diploma / Degree or equivalent experience
