**Job Description**:
We are offering Research Fellow position in Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries at School of Chemistry, Monash University, Australia
- Carry out the main work on the in-depth analysis of vanadium electrolytes, comprehensive characterisation of electrode materials and pilot VRFB systems
- Conduct the research under limited supervision either as a member of a team or, where appropriate, independently and the production or contribution to the production of conference and seminar papers and publications from that research
- Advice within the field of the staff member’s research to postgraduate students

**Qualifications**:

- A PhD in Chemistry/Materials Science or a related discipline from a recognised university
- A track record of quality refereed research publications
- Experience in applied electrochemistry with flow battery experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in supervising and working with major honours or postgraduate students within the discipline
- High level organisational skills, with demonstrated capacity to establish and achieve goals on time
- Well-developed computer literacy with the desirable skill set
