Evaluate, initiate, and execute infrastructure upgrading projects of various developmental stages towards completion in a timely manner.
- Prepare progress and verification plans and reports and ensure infrastructure upgrading projects are in accordance to recognized industry standards.
- Work in close partnership with the project team to define facilities management project plans and budgets, develop and maintain project timelines, establish, and monitor project risks and lead the project teams to achieve project deliverables and objectives.
- Structure, review and negotiate term contracts are renewed timely and review contractor’s performance and introduce new term contract whenever applicable.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with researcher community on the upgrading projects.
- Lead a team to manage and track facilities related daily operations, budget, progress of projects and hardware assets.
- Proactively initiate and implement facility inspection across A*STAR ISCE2 premises
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree with more than 10 years of relevant working experience in the industry.
- Experience and knowledge in facilities management with project management and/or contractor management experience is a big plus.
- A self-starter with strong networking and collaboration skills.
- A strong communicator with good written, presentation and oral communication skills.
- A strategic thinker and problem-solver with an innovation mindset.
- Proven track record in infrastructure upgrading projects.
- Ability to meet tight project timelines and manage budget.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team, in a dynamic R&D environment.
- Strong relationship management skills with an outgoing and pleasant personality.
