Risk management in Financial Institution or Securities Firm - Experience in risk reporting
Our client is an international financial institution with established presence in the Asia Pacific region. They are looking for Head of Risk Management to plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for Singapore office.
You will be the primary contact for all risk management related issues for Singapore. You are to monitor and manage the overall market and credit risk exposures of the Singapore office. You will interact and liaise with all local stakeholders including Business Lines, Finance, Operations and Legal & Compliance departments. You will also conduct annual enterprise risk management, risk reporting for major business lines on periodic basis for the local office to HQ. You will take initiative on formulating and refine the existing risk control methodologies and process, conduct periodic stress test and maintain a log to document the identified risks and action taken. You are to develop and update policies and procedures by enforcing document standards.
To qualify, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting or other quantitative disciplines. You should have at least 8 years of risk management experience in Financial Institution or securities firms. Certification such as FRM & CFA is an advantage. You should have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
