DESIGNATION : Full-Time Lecturer (Law)

RESPONSIBILITIES

**LECTURER, LAW**

Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct lectures and tutorials to diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate students (including overseas classes if required)
- Set and mark coursework and examination
- Moderate coursework and examination question papers and marking scheme
- Moderate coursework and examination scripts
- Monitor student’s academic progress and provide strong learning support
- Advise students with respect to academic performance, and pursuit of advanced studies
- Design, develop and review curriculum and learning materials
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate teaching materials and pedagogy to meet the expected learning outcomes
- Conduct administration duties pertinent to the modules and programmes of study
- Contribute to departmental or institutional wide working groups or committees as requested
- Adhere to quality assurance processes and ensure that quality requirements are met
- Participate in the school’s events, marketing campaigns and projects.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned by the Head of School/Dean/President

QUALIFICATIONS

**Requirements**:

- At least a pass at GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent in the language medium of the programme/module
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience or knowledge of module and/or programme leadership, development and administration within a higher education environment
- Experience in working with digital technology including an interest in emerging technology and techniques and maintaining an active interest in related developments within the sector
- Good people skills and ability to handle difficult situations, lead and motivate people
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
