Responsible for new equipment set-up and installation, Photo equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and to execute good preventive maintenance plan
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement for Photo equipment stability, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, productivity, yield improvement, product quality, cost reduction and to support daily management items to ensure production line stability
- Perform equipment fault investigation, yield loss root-causes analysis and prepare reports for documentation or knowledge sharing
- Establish, review and revise the SOP for troubleshooting, trouble prevention, process control, proper equipment operation & maintenance and upkeep the technical specification for all equipments
- Forecast financial budgets for equipment expenditures and monitor expenditures. Responsible to manage and control spare parts availability, parts and chemical material cost
- Work closely with Process Engineers to monitor and improve the process capability
- Implement new projects related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Explore use of AI / new advance methods to improve productivity and predictive maintenance program
- Lead Assistant Engineers and Technician to complete task given by management. Coaching and impart equipment knowledge and skill transfer to technician to maintain the equipment
- Manage vendor services and supports and ensuring compliance with company protocol
- Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary
