The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, Sydney armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family.

Fast forward 25 years we’re a crack team and merry band of misfits united by a common passion for doing amazing things, and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.

**Why join us as our Singapore Country Manager?**

We have the opportunity for someone to join us to lead Toby’s Estate Asia (TECA) company operations in Singapore. This includes leading the owned Café and Wholesale business in Singapore and providing support to Southeast Asia licensees to ensure compliance with TEC brand position and quality of products and services. This role reports to the General Manager who is based in Sydney, Australia.

**What does the role look like?
1. You’ll deliver sales and profit budget for Toby’s Singapore through the achievement of targets via activities such as:
You’ll work with wholesale customers and staff in Singapore to:

- Grow Sales and/or improve service through:

- Conducting public cuppings, store tasting, and PR events to drive the brand in Singapore.
- Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and providing feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Train baristas.
- Ensure product is delivered to customers at a high service level alongside the warehouse assistant.
- Ensure any equipment problems are dealt with and any major technical issues are contracted to be fixed.

2. Own leadership of our Singapore café through:

- Overseeing the management of the Rodyk Pl café to deliver profit, service, quality, compliance.
- Regular meetings with the Head Chef and Café Manager and overall accountability in ensuring Café is run in line with targets and the café & team are high performing.

3. There will also be international support duties including:

- Delivering Sales growth for Toby’s Philippines and Indonesia through the achievement of targets.
- Conducting regular training sessions, as set by TEC Training Manager for the Philippines and Indonesia in line with license agreements.
- Conduct market visits to ensure brand guidelines are being met.
- Regularly review the quality and financial performance of the Philippines and Indonesia to monitor progress and act as a conduit to Australia to improve licensee performance.
- Identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales.

**About you
You’ll have a genuine passion for coffee sales and leadership with a can-do approach. You’ll balance your interpersonal skills with your problem-solving attitude. You’ll be positive and proactive, with excellent and proven people leadership plus sales experience.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday role based between our Rodyk café and warehouse at 18 Cross Street, China Square. The role may require regular travel throughout Asia.
