- Provide strong risk governance, robust and balanced 2nd line challenge process for non
- retail credit portfolios and to ensure business development within acceptable credit appetite and portfolio metrics
- Provide recommendations for improving end-to-end credit process including guidance to business units through sharing sessions and transaction structuring alternatives to balance client and risk management requirements
- Provide independent credit evaluation and/ or credit approval of facilities and make sound recommendations to improve asset quality while supporting business growth of the Bank.
- Participate in various working groups / committees at Bank / industry / regulatory levels

**Requirements:

- **
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance / Business Administration / Economics or related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant credit evaluation & approval experience
- Well versed in credit analysis and financial modelling
- Extensive experience in the corporate/commercial credit space, with a strong emphasis on term lending, trade / working capital financing and derivative products.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting best practices and compliance/regulatory issues.
