Responsible for the implementation and coordination of associate lecturer talent and performance strategy. Partner with Higher Education department on resource management, timely deployment, and system enhancements for efficient contractual engagement. Provide pedagogical consultation and instructional leadership to the academic community through a variety of professional learning opportunities and experiences.
- **Faculty Appointment Decision Support**:

- Conduct lesson observations and reviews (routine, needs based and intervention support).
- Provide mentoring and instructional coaching of new lecturers, or those requiring more support to maintain teaching quality and CPE compliance.
- **Faculty Capability Development**:

- Develop and implement faculty learning roadmap in terms of learning experience design for blended/online learning.
- Facilitate virtual (or in-person) community of practice to encourage closer collaboration within the academic community. Plan and contribute regular posts, social interactions and on-demand support of pedagogical enquiries from lecturers.
- Deliver regular pedagogical training or partner with external experts to conduct professional learning events (e.g.: education conference) to equip lecturers with a range of learning science-based teaching competencies (including blended/online learning).
- Develop teaching resources and toolkits on instructional strategies and initiate/coordinate educational research to enhance teaching practices, improve learning engagement and student academic outcomes.
- **Faculty Talent Strategy**:

- Provide expert inputs and joint recommendation in teaching and learning matters during lecturers interviews/selection process and re-appointment.
- **Talent Operations and Engagement**:

- Manage conflict (lecturer complains, negative student feedback), grievances and academic misconduct to uphold academic integrity while ensuring equitable practice for associate lecturer employment experience and retention.
- Lead the reward and recognition process of lecturers through data analysis of student feedback and qualitative inputs of various stakeholders for nomination of teaching excellence and long service awards.
- Conceptualise and organise faculty events (appreciation and on-boarding) to promote positive academic climate and scholarly exchange.
- Facilitate pre and post event buzz (in-person, virtual or hybrid) to encourage participation and sustain engagement.
- Facilitate lecturer dialogues to build community engagement (in-person and virtual).
- **Workflow Optimisation and Digitalisation**: Engage stakeholders to conduct reviews and experimentation of workflow automation for CV retrieval, digitisation of lesson observation to support/streamline recruitment and performance management practices.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS
**- Doctoral or master’s degree in education or equivalent with 5 years of relevant working experience in higher education academic teaching or faculty professional development
- Demonstrated knowledge in pedagogy, learning and development, blended learning or learning sciences
- Proven experience in facilitating corporate training or teaching within a tertiary education environment using interactive blended / online learning
- Familiar with low-code development platforms for mobile learning and interactive courseware development is preferred
- At least one year of experience in team management, working knowledge in education administration and people development will be advantageous
- This is a faculty position. Conducting regular training and workshop facilitation are expected as part of the responsibility
- Excellent English communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Highly collaborative with good EQ and able to work effectively with faculty, managers, and external authorities
- Excellent decision-making and crisis management skills.
