We are seeking for experience swimming coaches to join our group. We viewed Swimming Coach as a vital role in coaching and developing infant/toddles/kids/adults to equip appropriate swimming abilities as part of their core survival skill in life. He/she will be required to conduct swimming classes as stated below:
Job Scope(s):
- Integration of our guided swimming curriculum into the assigned swimming classes
- Coach swimmer on the correct swimming techniques in classes.
- Provide explanations and demonstration of swimming techniques
- Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance
- Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure all equipment are used correctly
- Ensure safety standards are followed in sessions and undertake risk assessments
- Identify swimmers’ abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential
- To always enact yourself as a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children and adults to participate in swimming
Requirement:
- Possess Lifesaving 1, 2 & 3 Certificate, Standard First Aid Cert and NCAP Level 1 Theory Certificate.
- Have at least 3 years of experience as swim coach.Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards swimming
- Good communicator with high level of energy
- Ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers
- Perseverance and patience
- Ability to encourage people and put them at ease
- Professional, punctual and well-organized person responsible for the implementation, development and organization of swimming classes
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends
