Job Descriptions
- Perform engineering design, calculations and analysis using industry standard software of grid connected Wind and Hybrid systems using Wind, Solar and BESS
- Coordinate technical proposals and the bid/award process for obtaining the related services, and will provide project management of the consultant’s work for KRE.
- Engineering and design using industry standard software of grid connected Wind Farms based on most suitable technologies and LCoE

- Produce pre-conceptual designs with accompanying production estimates and review structural, geotechnical, environmental, permitting, and zoning challenges for projects.
- Provide and review Wind system engineering designs, modeling, and performance data, and provide engineering support during the construction process.
- Support the procurement process for large Wind Farms across the region including OEM equipment, EPC services, OE services, etc.
- Manage external consultants to obtain assessments of project structural or geotechnical considerations, interconnect issues, and to identify the required approvals from related authorities.
- Review the costs of structural estimates, interconnection, permitting agreements, production estimates, and assessment of commercial risk factors.
- Maintain relationship with consultants and OEM suppliers be up to date in the best solutions in each of the markets where KRE is focused.
- Oversee the development of structural and electrical designs that meet all national, state and local code requirements as well as customer defined requirements for each of KRE’s key markets.
- Maintain design and proposal requirements, knowledge of codes and standards, design procedures, methods and process, improve efficiency of project development and project selection process.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time. In the event there are substantial changes to the main duties and responsibilities as set out herein (for example, in cases of secondment, transfer or promotion), the Company will communicate such changes to you in writing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of engineering and design experience with utility-scale Wind.
- Experience with reviewing and assessing design/engineering documentation from other engineers and/or consultants.
- Able to demonstrate sound engineering judgement with an eye for detail
- Must be fluent in English (both oral and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or related technical discipline
- Proficient in related engineering software for Wind (Windographer, WAsP, WindPro etc.)
- Experience in markets outside of Singapore
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
- Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy
- Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with multiple interests and backgrounds
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Exposure with other renewable energy asset Classes (e.g. BESS/Solar)
- Experience negotiating contracts with third parties (e.g. EPCs, Technical Advisors)
- Exposure to GIS software like Global Mapper, and/or ArcGIS/QGIS
- Exposure to CAD software is a plus
- Asian language skills an advantage
- Understanding of statistical analysis and linear regression models, preferably as it pertains to meteorological data sources and yield analysis
- Familiarity with modeling energy project economics and with concepts such as NPV, IRR and LCOE
- Self-starter - ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
