**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join the Singapore team as the Head of Option Desk for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role will be responsible for leading and managing our options trading desk operations, driving growth, and ensuring profitability in the rapidly expanding derivatives market.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute trading strategies for the options desk in the APAC region, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the company.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the derivatives market, providing insights and recommendations to optimize trading strategies.
- Collaborative Excellence: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially with the Engineering Teams and Quant Teams, to formulate and execute strategies.
- Risk Management: Implement robust risk management processes and controls to mitigate trading risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze trading performance, P&L, and key metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for new products and services, contributing to the ongoing innovation and growth of the company.

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience (at least 7-10 years) in options trading, preferably in a leadership role within a financial institution or trading firm.
- Deep understanding of derivatives markets, including options pricing models, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
- Proven track record of success in managing trading desks, delivering strong financial results, and building high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
- Fluency in English is required.
