Ntu Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship provides the opportunity for early career scientists, engineers and scholars from Singapore and around the world to conduct independent investigations in any discipline at NTU, often regarded as the most research intensive university in Asia. The postdoc appointment is intended to provide a pathway to an academic appointment as an assistant professor or another international postdoctoral assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop geochemical models and geochemical data analytics algorithms for studying continental formation history and/or ocean geochemistry- Write project reports and scientific research papers for publication- Make presentations and document project information- Collaborate across research teams, facilitate interdisciplinary studies
Job Requirements:
- PhD Degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences- Strong geochemistry and/or geophysics background with specific interests in geochemical modeling- Scientific article, proposal and report writing skills- Good interpersonal skills- Good English writing and verbal communication skills- Excellent teamwork awareness- Productive, hard-working and dedicated to the completion of any task assigned
