**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for the day to day execution of breakdown and preventive maintenance to minimize machinery/equipment breakdown and promoting a safety work environment taking instructions from Maintenance Supervisor.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Work closely with the Asst. Maintenance Supervisor, all departments and external providers in regular and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and work on opportunities for improvement on maintenance related activities.
- Carry out every maintenance work safely, with care and within specified hours accordingly.
- Ensure related maintenance records are duly filled up, signed and filed.
- Ensure that all electrical equipment/ appliances are log out and tag out effectively before any repair.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance are carried out as per check list on the equipment.
- Ensure that the maintenance store and work place is clean and disposal of oil, dust and rubbish whenever necessary and by the end of the day or before shift change.
- Perform equipment handling safely whenever necessary.
- Constantly update the Asst. Maintenance Supervisor on the job status.
- Support the Asst. Maintenance Supervisor on stock up of commonly used spares to reduce downtime.
- Take care of all issued maintenance work accessories and items.
- Understand and be aware of the impact of each activity to the company, its environment and minimize any detrimental results.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures.
- Ensure company and QHSE policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Participate/ attend all functions, activities and meeting organized by the company.
- Perform other assignment and duties as and when required.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Ensure on time completion of regular and preventive maintenance.
- Work with the team to achieve QHSE objectives.
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
- Report all unsafe acts, infrastructure and environment to his Supervisor and Manager.
- Ensure all jobs are properly handed over during shift change.

**QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE**
- NTC/Nitec preferably in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance role.
