**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Our client operates in the Heavy Machinery Engineering industry, boasting a rich heritage spanning over a century. They are currently seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team.

In this role, the Senior Procurement Specialist will report to the Manager and collaborate with a team of four colleagues. Their primary responsibilities include overseeing the procurement process, implementing procurement programs, identifying procurement strategies, driving cost reduction initiatives, negotiating with vendors, managing tenders and categories, handling procurement operations, and conducting procurement analysis to support annual planning.

Furthermore, the incumbent will be required to analyze inventory trends, past and future demand volumes, develop risk mitigation strategies, manage contracts, oversee vendor relationships, classify suppliers, and prepare performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis as needed.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Business Management or any related field
- Min 5 years working experience in procurement or purchasing in the heavy machinery engineering industry
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience with drafting, reviewing, and managing contract
