The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

You will be involved in consumer engagement work including complaints handling and financial education.

On complaints handling, you will engage consumers on their complaints or feedback on financial institutions and practices in the financial industry. Besides identifying key issues raised by consumers, you will work with supervisory departments to craft clear and empathetic replies that addresses consumer concerns. As part of your role, you will also liaise with financial institutions to ensure that they review and reply to consumers’ feedback, and submit timely updates to MAS.

Your role also includes undertaking consumer risk surveillance work to identify key trends emerging from consumer complaints and feedback. This includes alerting MAS departments to potential issues observed from consumer feedback and preparing reports to management.

In addition to complaints handling which is the primary role, you will be involved in initiatives for MoneySense, Singapore’s national financial education programme. This entails collaborating with industry partners and other government agencies to develop financial education content, campaigns and events for the public.

**Job Requirements**
- Service-oriented and resourceful individual
- Good analytical skills and understanding of consumer engagement and financial behaviour
- Good knowledge of financial products and services, or experience in customer service and financial education (e.g. running outreach events and educational campaigns) is an advantage
- Keen interest in public service
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
