JR38908 Engineer - NVE PE
As a Product Engineer in the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVEG) Product Engineering organization at Micron Technology, Inc., you will part of a brilliant team of engineers that solves complex problems. You will be responsible for enabling Micron’s NAND products with seamless and issue-free release to both internal and external non-volatile system customers.
In this role, you will be part of a team of engineers to formulate and execute validation flows on the latest RG NAND designs, focusing on Power Characterization, using high-speed ATE testers. When device issues are uncovered, you will perform detailed failure analysis and work closely with the various Engineering and Development groups to resolve the observed issues. **Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:
- Develop test program and methodologies on high-speed tester hardware to perform power characterization of new NAND devices
- Run Power Char evaluation flows
- Perform Electrical Failure Analysis during the evaluations, and investigate root causes of reported device issues
- Collaborate with NAND Design, Application Engineering, Product and System teams to drive closure of device issues
- Automation of program development and work processes using scripting
**Skills Required**:
- Keen interest in design validation and device characterization
- Software development proficiency (e.g. C-based programming) and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Simulation software know-how (e.g. Verilog, Synopsis VCS) is a plus
- Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
- Good multitasking and organizational skills
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm
