**Roles & Responsibilities**
**Your assignment**:
- Develop a store action plan that secures the best use of available resources, a diverse and appropriate staff structure and meets the defined business and productivity goals thereby contributing to the fulfilment of the store staffing approach;
- Contribute towards the store staffing approach supported by the Business Navigation Manager and Human Resources Manager;
- Ensure that the regional principles and guidelines are implemented in the staff planning process and that they are reflected in co-worker schedules, and advise Human Resources on recruitment and the store staffing structure in accordance with the People Strategy;
- Co-operate across all functions in the store as a credible partner to ensure everyone understands and participates in the staffing optimisation process that is focussed on co-workers, customers and the IKEA business;
- Responsible for the utilisation of staffing systems and tools in the store, and for ensuring they reflect optimised staff planning practices;
- Responsible for following up the entire store staffing optimisation process, including commercial influences, possible improvements, as well as ensuring work schedules comply with all labour rules and internal requirements and that the security of the agreed financial framework are all considered, identified and escalated when breached;
- Contribute to the delivery of objectives in the store staffing approach by securing a close follow-up of staff planning and related retail KPIs, and supported by accurate reporting that leads to exploring best practices and opportunities for benchmarking throughout the regional staff planning matrix organisation.
**Your profile**:
- Passion for optimising the store's staff planning process that is inspired by co-workers, customers and business;
- Driven to meet KPI benchmarks and set goals while ensuring a viable schedule for all co-workers;
- Knowledge of store activities in order to understand the dynamic relationship and technical connections among different areas;
- Understand the impact of staff planning on the financial and productivity results of the store;
- Have a good understanding of IKEA store operations and how the IKEA business is executed;
- Experience in creating business plans including commercial priorities and other business cycle calendars;
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an active business partner to hiring managers;
- Required to perform weekends store duties and peak support on an intermittent basis.
