Counsellor/social Worker

**About The Role**:
- To work directly with individuals, couples, families and children to provide counselling services.
- To work with divorced/divorcing parents to address co-parenting disputes.
- To facilitate supervised visitation sessions with child(ren) and Visiting Parents for acrimonious divorce cases.
- To conduct psycho-educational and therapeutic groupwork programmes for parents and children.
- To maintain proper case documentation and programme statistics and adhere to professional practice standards.
- To prepare reports to Family Justice Court for court mandated cases.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
**Technical Competencies**:
- For counsellor position, a minimum qualification of a Master’s Degree in Counselling recognized by Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC).
- For social worker position, a minimum qualification of a recognised Bachelor’s degree in social work (or higher).
- Is a registered member with SAC or accredited registered social worker with SWAAB.
(Or is in the process of being a member or accredited)
- At least 3 years of work experiences.
- Experiences in marital and parenting counselling.
**Core Competencies**:
- Able to work closely with other professionals within and outside the agency to provide holistic and effective therapeutic and groupwork services.
- Able to work with highly conflictual couples and families.
- Able to work on Saturdays and some weekday evenings.
**Preferred achievements / characteristics**:
- Good coordination and collaborative skills.
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
