**What the day will look like**

Reporting to the Head of Life Consulting (APAC), the role holder will be responsible for the delivery of client assignments in Aon’s Life Consulting business in the APAC region. This will include execution of key projects as well as building trusted relationships with our clients.

Role requirements will include identifying key take to market propositions from a Life Consulting perspective as well as working with the Head of Life Consulting (APAC) and other senior Aon colleagues to identify opportunities to Deliver Aon United (“DAU”) to our clients to allow them to make better decisions.

Who will I be working with and who will I be reporting to?

Working primarily with Aon Strategy and Technology Group (“Aon STG”) colleagues you will identify technology, strategy and consulting implementation opportunities across Life Insurers, Reinsurers and other related parties, Wider opportunities to engage our clients with (for example) Human Capital and Reinsurance solutions will also be part of the role.

You will be reporting to the Head of Life Consulting (APAC) and will work closely with the regional STG Technology sales teams as well as Life Reinsurance colleagues in Reinsurance Solutions. Local management support and leadership will also be provided by the STG APAC regional leader.
Role is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from designated Aon office. There will also be significant opportunity to work with clients at their locations as and when required/preferred.

You will be able to shape your working day as you deem appropriate to ensure we deliver maximum value to clients and develop colleagues and the Aon Life Consulting brand.

It is expected that a typical day will involve:

- preparing presentation and marketing materials
- liaising with existing and potential clients;
- developing your internal network, (which will also identify further client opportunities);
- delivery of client engagements and projects
- working closely with other Life Consulting colleagues across all regions

**How this opportunity is different**

Aon acquired the Tyche software suite in 2022 with a vision for Tyche to be at the heart of its new Strategy and Technology Group (STG). Aon believes Life (re)insurance actuarial technology is ready to be shaken up and through this role you will work with the Head of Life and the Sales teams to lead the change in APAC markets. In particular, you will engage with clients at the sharp end to see Aon’s vision implemented. You will need to buy into this vision and be an advocate or evangelist within Aon and with our clients to see it implemented.

This role is unique in that it gives the incumbent the opportunity to “build a business” and shape the direction of the entire business line, rather than join an existing team.
The role holder will have significant autonomy to set the strategy, scope and ways of working for their team, as well as to build a team culture that fits their own and Aon’s ways of working.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Life Consulting background (Big 4 experience welcome). 5-8 years of work experience
- Experience in developing propositions and building a “take to market” strategy
- Results-oriented and fast learner
- Strong EQ and stakeholder management skills
- A pragmatist with excellent written and oral communication skills
