Within this graduate role you will begin to support the undertaking of environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA), environmental management plans (EMPs), and due diligence of renewable energy and other critical infrastructure projects. We enable our clients to secure financing through timely delivery of comprehensive ESIAs, meeting the needs of a variety of financing institutions (example: private equity firms, banks, development banks, etc) within the context of international environment.- We also support investors in assessing projects and assist in their decision-making processes resulting in responsible investment. We work within international social frameworks such as IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguards, or World Bank Environmental and Social Framework. **As part of the role, key responsibilities will include**:

- Contribute to environmental studies, analysis and reporting related to environment projects.
- Ensure compliance of project activities with national environmental regulations and international standards.
- Assist in project management including preparation of project work plans, schedules, budgets, the management of all technical activities and people coordination.
- Grow your relationship management skills by working collaboratively with clients and internal teams to ensure that environmental considerations are considered.
- Conduct field surveys and sampling activities.
- Think and work globally in partnership with Environmental & Society teams across Mott MacDonald.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline related to environment, earth systems ecology/biodiversity etc (Masters or post-grad qualifications highly desirable).
- Self-motivated, analytical with a learning mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
- Excellent written communication with great attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- A digital aptitude, strong learning mindset and interest to commit to driving social and sustainable outcomes in all that we do.
