**Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with the strategic marketing team to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities. Ensure the analysis is presented in a meaningful and comprehensive way.
- Maintain clear and complete understanding and knowledge on business strategy pillars, business operations and processes.
- Track macro-economic indicators, derive insights from macro data and publish the insights (through multiple innovative platforms) to APAC & SSA countries for business planning
- Continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders across functional areas to identify business needs and value creation opportunities.
- Raise the bar on use of tools and insight studies to evaluate existing markets in new ways and understand new markets better including macro trends, market sizing, opportunities & threats, changing dynamics, competition and emerging trends.
- Engage with internal and external experts to build base for value creation projects & programs.
- Perform business analysis and reporting for assigned projects, reviews and presentations.
- Contribute in cross functional projects - market evaluation, resource planning, problem solving, operational plan and participate in execution.
- Determine the dashboards, analysis and data requirements and deliver on them with defined frequency for future business planning & problem solving.
- Collaborate with other internal functions (PLT, marcom, R&D, country business and functional teams) to drive joint efforts.
**Requirements
- Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in business/economics/ finance/ engineering from a reputed institution. An MBA will be an added advantage.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within large corporates, or with consulting or research organizations.
- Industry experience in Speciality Chemicals, Materials, Packaging & Labelling, Paints, Printing Inks, Graphic Arts, or similar sectors would be highly desirable
- Strategic thinking and innovative mindset. Ability to read future market trends.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent business communication skills. Flair for writing formal reports and making presentations.
- Project Management Skills. Ability to collect and manage large amounts of data. Process Orientation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Exposure to working in large multinationals and in matrix organization structure.
- Positive, “Can do” attitude; Strong personal drive and ability to work independently.
