Our Medical Services team is critical to the success of Doctor Anywhere. We are a team of healthcare professionals who oversee Doctor Anywhere ’s medical operations including clinics, telemedicine and mobile services. With our patients as top priority, our team works closely together to deliver the benefits of innovative medical technology.
**About the role**
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and facilitate efficient day to day operations of the facility including planning, developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Manage employees within the facility. This includes recruitment, training, roster management, performance management, and other relevant personnel responsibilities.
- Manage the inventory and budget and responsible for proper procurement protocols of medical supplies.
- Foster and develop positive working relationships with patients, medical practitioners and other stakeholders to support the continued growth of the centre.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including developing and implementing new programs, procedures and services.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, collecting, and depositing of payments/fees.
- Ensure that all Ministry of Health (MOH) required regulatory and legal compliance related to confidentiality, patient safety etc is adhered to.
- Ensures that critical safety standards are complied with eg fire, Health and Safety, emergency planning, legal compliance, accreditation, and certification.
- Maintain records and reports on all aspects of the centre's operations, including financial budgets and forecasting.
- Establish and implement equipment use and failure to function policies and regular maintenance of equipment
- Assists in the creation of business plans for assigned areas in cooperation with senior management, doctors (if applicable) and/or Director.
- Ensure that all aspects of the centre's operations comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and exceptional care to patients, in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Other ad hoc duties as required
**About you**
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing large healthcare operations
- Possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry standards is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
