Overview:
Based in Singapore, the Senior Project Manager manages a complex program/project portfolio and a team of project managers, holding accountability of the project delivery. The Senior Project Manager develops project delivery practice at Murex.

Accountabilities:
Presales- Assign presales opportunities and projects to team members and provide support.- Review/validate presales deliverables provided by the team and ensure project assumptions are achievable.- Participate/lead presales of large, strategic pursuits/RFPs.

Project Director role on a portfolio of projects- Initiate and define project strategy and risks with the Project Managers and follow/review them along the life cycle of all projects of his/her portfolio.- Supervise one or multiple projects within an objective to safeguard compliance with Murex engagements from scope, quality, timelines and P&L perspectives.- Secure effective governance, looking specifically at engagement rules, risk anticipation and escalation, with senior client & system integrator (SI) stakeholders.- Ultimate authority and sole escalation point regarding projects execution (from presales to closure) and reporter for critical decisions requiring arbitration at Client and BU levels.- Build trust and manage relationships with the senior client/SI stakeholders, in order to ensure alignment between all parties, in particular during the steering committees.- Act as an agent of change by anticipating transformations impacts and lead the change accompaniment to meet Murex delivery commitments and vision.

People Management-
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the Murex culture, actively leading people/talent development.- In the context of project(s):
- Provide & simplify context, including contextualized success criteria to enable people autonomy in execution taking into account individuals levels and profile; contribute to business objectives definition.-
- Lead the team towards successful execution/delivery, ensuring team alignment and co-operation between team members and developing team identity.-
- Provide regular feedback to the team and team members and to individual’s domain manager on contributions, skills (expertise and collaboration): strengths, development needs in their working context. Project Management domain- Shape the organizational strategy, drive transformations and support Project Management domain.- Play a critical role in defining the vision, setting priorities, and ensuring that change initiatives align with the long-term goals of the company.

Your profile- 15-20 years of total working experience with at least 10 years of complex Project Management experience, driving the implementation of Treasury/Capital Markets software (preferred) or other banking software.- Understanding of Murex operating model & platform, Capital market industry and financial products.- Demonstration of satisfactory level in Murex Way skills, in particular, ability to- Manage ambiguities and empower for decision making-
- Communicate clearly about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations, and provide feedback to develop other people-
- Build relationship and trust with people at all levels and with different stakeholders (client, partners, Murex) including senior management and team-
- Ability to perform under pressure and influence for positive outcomes.- Able to travel in the APAC region on a frequent basis, depending on the assignment taken.- Proficiency in Chinese is highly advantageous to manage mandarin-speaking clients.
