**Responsibilities**:

- Collect venous blood samples using aseptic techniques
- Ensure blood specimen is drawn from the correct patient by checking the 2 patient identifiers
- Label appropriate samples using the “add specimen” module in CPOE, verify requested tests and dispatch samples to laboratories.
- Assist in the servicing and maintenance of phlebotomy tools
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

**Requirements**:

- Polytechnic Diploma - Phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy experience or certificate is preferred
- Computer literacy
