**Job Description**:As a Probe Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for managing automated test equipment.

These ATE are required for performing wafer level testing on all products fabricated at Micron Virginia.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to the items below:
Troubleshoot intermediate to difficult equipment issues Plan and develop preventative maintenance plans Optimize ATE for high throughput and cycle time Optimize ATE to improve availability Work with other teams on improving product yield and quality Train/mentor/assist Equipment Technicians on ATE Participate in new part introduction by ensuring equipment is ready and qualified Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions to address chronic tool alarms
**The ability to work independently Excellent technical communication, written and verbal, skills Proven ability to work and solve complex problems Basic Linux and Windows operating systems Basic programming experience in Python or Perl Enjoy hands on working with both electrical and mechanical components
